Privacy Policy

The meaning of “personal data” is defined in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). According to the new regulation, personal data includes all information that refers to an identified or identifiable natural person.

Privacy and the protection of personal data, i.e. any information about personal or factual circumstances which either identifies the user as a natural person while they are using our website or makes them identifiable as such, are major priorities. We confirm that we treat personal data as confidential and according to the statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy. Merely using our website does not establish a contractual relationship between users and ourselves as providers.

Data collection and processing

We collect data from users who would like further information about our consulting services from us, who are seeking employment opportunities, or who are registering for events. When they fill out these contact forms, users are asked to only provide appropriate data in the “mandatory fields”. Additional, voluntary information is used to evaluate and respond to enquiries and requests as appropriate.

Anonymised data is also used to adapt our website to visitors’ needs. We sometimes collect demographic data and information about the systems and browsers visitors to our website are using so that we can offer optimised ads for a responsive design and to find out more about the website users, identify areas of interest and recognise usage patterns so as to improve the added value for users and check whether the site is designed so that it corresponds to most visitors’ device settings.

We do not disclose data to third parties who are not directly associated with user issues without user consent. Only in this situation may data be disclosed to service providers who work for us and who – in conjunction with this activity – have access to the data to process user issues and user requests.

We use the lead generation service of Leadinfo B.V., Rotterdam, Netherlands. This recognizes visits by companies to our website on the basis of IP addresses and shows us publicly available information for this purpose, such as company names or addresses. In addition, Leadinfo sets two first-party cookies to evaluate user behavior on our website and processes domains from form entries (e.g., "leadinfo.com") to correlate IP addresses with companies and improve the services. For more information, please visit leadinfo.com. On this page: leadinfo.com/en/opt-out you have an opt-out option. If you opt-out, your information will no longer be collected by Leadinfo.

Duration of data utilisation and data retention

Data will be deleted or blocked as soon as the data utilisation purpose has been achieved or ceases to be applicable. Extended data storage only takes place if we are legally obligated to this effect. Once the applicable, statutory retention periods have elapsed, the corresponding data will be routinely deleted or blocked, taking the valid data protection regulations into account. If users have given their consent to their data being stored, processed and used for longer, the data will be deleted or blocked after the respective period has elapsed or when users revoke the consent they have given to this effect.

Information, deletion, blocking

Users of our website have the right, at any time, to free information about the personal data saved about them, its origin, the recipients and the purpose of data processing, as well as a right to correct, delete or block the same. Users can get in touch with the contact mentioned below at any time if they have any further questions on this matter or on the topic of personal data.

Copyrights and ancillary copyrights

Contents published on our website are subject to German copyright and ancillary copyright. Any use which is not permitted by German copyright and ancillary copyright requires prior written approval either from us or the respective copyright holder. This particularly applies to duplication, processing, translation, storage, processing or reproduction of contents in databases or other electronic media and systems. Contents and rights belonging to third parties are marked as such in this regard. Unauthorised duplication or reproduction of individual contents or entire pages is prohibited. Presentation of this website in external frames is only permitted with written authorisation. Linking of our website must be agreed upon beforehand.

External links

Our website contains links to third-party sites (“external links”). These websites are the responsibility of the respective operators. We as providers checked the first time we connected external links to third-party content whether any legal violations exist. No legal violations were apparent at that time. We have no influence whatsoever over the current and future design or the contents of the linked sites. The set-up of external links does not mean that the provider of the contents behind the reference or link considers the contents to be their own. It is not reasonable to constantly monitor the external links without concrete evidence of legal violations. However, such external links will be deleted immediately as soon as we become aware of legal violations.

Social networks

Links to social networks are provided on some pages belonging to the Kerkhoff Group and its subsidiaries for the purpose of offering a comments function and are marked as such.

No information is transferred to the social media service providers via our web pages. Users are only forwarded to the respective provider’s website when they use the comments function, and user information is transferred to the respective third-party provider as a result.

Please refer to the respective providers’ privacy policies for further information about the purpose and extent of data collection and data processing by the social media services used and about user rights and setting options for protecting privacy:
